Railway Photography Through the Decades – 1947-1979
Speaker – Colin Boocock
The first of two shows which cover Colin’s lifetime railway photographic journey as he progressed from a Brownie box camera in 1950 to more sophisticated cameras, as well as his earlier attempts at successful 35mm colour slide photography before moving into the digital era. Colin has travelled extensively abroad, so the show isn’t entirely of UK railways, though British pictures are in the majority. 1980-2021 will follow in 2027.
All presentations are held in the Roundhouse lecture theatre commencing at 19.30 and finishing between 21.45 and 22.00. Doors open at 19.00.
